OK Aurora blends emotive songwriting with warm grooves, expressive vocals, and rich horn arrangements. 

Their sound is not only influenced by artists such as Becca Stevens and Steely Dan, but also from bandleader Rod Oughton’s lived experiences — time spent teaching music in Tanzania, studying in Brazil, and reflecting on the ties that connect him to friends and family across distance and memory.
