Declan Welsh is a Glaswegian songwriter and poet that, with his band The Decadent West, expresses political beliefs and the hedonism of youth with fiery and seductive indie rock. 2020 has been a big year for them despite the circumstances, what with currently being in the running for Scottish Album of the Year 2020 and their heart-warming anthem ‘Times’ featuring in the latest Tennent’s Lager ad.
